Ben Shorey Handmade Painted Kitchens
Itís often the case that painted kitchens are regarded as inferior to hardwood kitchens. Its painted so all sorts of comprises can be made in terms of materials and construction, after all, once its painted who is going to see?
This is not the case with our kitchens! The construction method and quality of materials are exactly the same for both hardwood and painted kitchens. No comprises are made. The overriding philosophy is same for all our furniture - made to last a lifetime.
When we design your kitchen the option to have it painted can be left open right up to the final approval as your decision in no way effects the design. A further point to make, is that your new kitchen will arrive ready painted, unlike some companies that use your home as an extension of their workshops and spend days painting in situ.
The paint colour for your new kitchen is an important factor, for this reason we do not limit you to a particular range or palette. You can choose any colour you wish and if itís not available 'off the shelf' we will have it mixed for you, though we do find that the most popular colour choices come from the Farrow and Ball paint chart.
You may perhaps choose to vary the colours, maybe a bold statement colour for an Island with a more neutral colour for the rest. What about an item in natural wood, oak and painted furniture mix very well together - the choice is yours!
